Sending Roses - so What’s Your Hidden Message?
The species ordered more than any other in bouquets, is the rose. It’s easy to see why these beautiful blooms have grown into such a timeless classic. Velvet soft petals and a sweet fragrance are intoxicating to the senses, but every color holds a specific message. By using the unique messages concealed in each color, you can communicate without saying a word. It’s inconceivable to find a 100% natural blue rose, however sending a dyed bouquet can say exactly that. In combination with other colors a blue rose can say many unusual things. Black roses don’t exist in nature either and generally they refer to dying or partings. Traditionally black roses are a standard option during a bereavement. Of course, not all colors will represent such negative connotations. Orange colored roses can demonstrate enthusiasm or fascination. Coral tones mean desire and lighter peach tones show reserve. Even so, the spectrum of peach can represent everything from appreciation to enthusiasm about closing a deal. Smart individuals already know red roses are allegories of many kinds of love for a sweetheart, life partner, or teenage daughter. There are traditionally various other attributions to this exquisite bloom. A rosebud can acknowledge purity or a childlike quality. Early in a relationship send roses with no thorns, they will herald love at first sight.
Pink flowers are a different story completely. Presenting someone with a pink rosebud can herald joyfulness, esteem or to say thank you, gentleness, or even please think of me, which makes them suitable for bouquets sent to say sorry.
The invariable choice of brides everywhere is the ethereal white rose alluding to purity. White roses also have associations to heaven and silence.
So, if you can’t find the words, let a bunch of flowers take care of it for you. Roses are grown in such a range of shades, that in combination you can say just about anything you can think of.
